Pre-Event Get Together
The 2018 Semiahmoo Yacht Club Commodore’s Ball was once again held at the Silver Reef Hotel / Casino in Ferndale. A full evening of fine dining, friendship, fun and dancing was enjoyed by all who were able to attend.
After dinner current board members were thanked for their contribution and presented with gifts by Commodore Steve, who also presented awards to members who made extra contributions during the year.
Al Oakley reviewed the 2018 Salmon Derby and presented the trophies to the first place and runner up anglers
The customary silent and live auctions were a great success, with Dick Hardman again acting as auctioneer.
The evening continued with dancing to the superb music of the Atlantics and everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Thanks go out to all who helped make the evening a roaring success.
