The Annual General Meeting for the Semiahmoo Yacht Club was held at the Blaine Marina on March 18th. It was the first in person General Meeting in 4 years so it was great to see all the people in the room together again and of course, we missed those who could not join us.
Congratulations to Randy Parton on his wedding, and Congratulations to Morgan Kelly for becoming a Life Time member!
The 2023 Budget received strong support from members and we have a great line up of events and cruises planned for 2023. We are also looking to grow our membership and we welcome people who are interested in boating to reach out and look at the advantages of the Semiahmoo Yacht Club. We are also very active on Social Media, namely Instagram and have a Facebook site for members only with event information, and knowledge sharing.
Our theme for 2023 is “Happiness Comes in Waves” – so enjoy a great year!
