Thanks to Laura Moore-Dempsey, Michele Fraser and Steven Mohr for all their hard work organizing a successful Canada Day cruise to Port Sidney Marina last weekend.
Twelve boats plus Don and Helen sans Luna-Sea participated in the event. Lovely weather, although a bit breezy at times, contributed to an enjoyable celebration. The co-hosts, assisted by a ream of helpers including butter cutter Joan Shemly, put off a great BBQ dinner Friday night, followed by a terrific fireworks display. And the Boat Hop Appetizer event on Saturday was lots of fun with a chance to see other member’s new and old boats! Breakfast on Sunday morning capped off a terrific cruise before many members steamed off.
