Semiahmoo Yacht Club again joined forces with the Birch Bay Village Yacht club to co-host the 2018 Bob Webber Memorial Fishing Derby at the Roche Harbor Marina. Hosts Al and Beoma (Camai) saw to it that members and guest of both clubs enjoyed a weekend of food, fun and fishing.
Following two days of fishing in the waters around San Juan and the local islands, Carmen M had landed the winning entry, with a 7 lb. 2oz. Coho Salmon.
Special thanks to Wayne and Diane (Gilliano), for providing an opportunity for “boat-less” fishermen and women to get into the fishing action aboard their boat. From all reports, a great deal of fun and laughter was enjoyed by crew and guests.

This event was once again a great late season cruise that is well worth adding to your cruising calendar for next year! Al and Beoma would like to thank all who helped make this even such a great time.
