On November 18th we had our 2022 Commodores Ball celebrating Wayne Kuypers as our 2022 Commodore.
It was a wonderful evening of eating and dancing. Tom and Dawn Douthwaite certainly owned the dance floor!
The ball was held at the Coast Hotel in Langley, B.C. and was attended by 52 members and guests. The facility was beautifully decorated for Christmas, and we had a lovely harpist serenade us as we sipped on champagne and enjoyed connecting up with our boating friends. The Coast Hotel put on a beautiful buffet spread! Everything you could ask for! The food was amazing. Decorating was done by Diane Kuypers, Lexie Dalzell and Louise Kolstad. They did amazing table centre pieces featuring Cymbidium Orchids (Commonly known as boat orchids). After dinner, Dick Hardman did a stellar job of auctioning them all off.
