On April 16th, SYC ladies were joined by the Ladies of Loomis Golf Club to "Come Play In The Dirt". And, that they did, as 21 ladies gathered at Van Wingerden (VW) Garden Center in Blaine. According to SYC's Patti Rutter, the event organizer, it was the Club's 20th year of hosting this unique event.
With the number of attendees swelled by the Ladies of Loomis Golf Club, everyone had a delightful time visiting and creating potted arrangements in a wonderful setting.
All attendees received a discount on their purchases from the nursery and, if one brought their own planter, the topsoil was free! At the end of the evening, many happy participants walked away with some beautiful plant bargains.
VW has been a great supporter of this event over the years and the Club thanks them.
