In a joint SYC / BBVYC educational event held this month at the Birch Bay Village Clubhouse, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Officer Eric Brand presented the new Small Boat Reporting procedures that went into effect this year, applicable to all foreign flagged vessels.
Information was also provided on a new ‘Cruising License’, as well the reporting process (with and without Nexus) and the Cruising License renewal process.
Following the presentation, an opportunity was provided for the audience to ask questions on the specific aspects of the program, and other relevant areas of interest or concern.
